Sugarcane, Saccharum officinarum, is a perennial grass in the family Poaceae grown for its stem (cane) which is primarily used to produce sucrose. Sugarcane has a thick, tillering stem which is clearly divided into nodes and internodes. Sugarcane juice is considered an alkaline forming food because of the high concentration of calcium, magnesium, potassium, iron, and manganese in it. Diseases like cancer cannot survive in an alkaline environment and that’s why studies show that it is effective in fighting cancer, especially prostate and breast cancer.
Lime is a hybrid citrus fruit, which is typically round, lime green, 3–6 centimetres (1.2–2.4 in) in diameter and contains acidic juice vessels. The health benefits of lime include weight loss, skin care, eye care, improved digestion, respiratory disorders, urinary disorders and relief from constipation.
Plum is about the size of an average sized tomato, measuring about 5-6 cm in diameter and weigh about 50-70 g. It has central umbilicated depression at the stem end. Internally, its pulp is juicy and succulent. Plums have a sweet and tart taste with a pleasant aroma. Plums are low in calories (46 calories per 100 g) and contain no saturated fats; however, they hold numerous health promoting compounds, antioxidants, minerals, and vitamins.
Guava fruits, usually 4 to 12 centimetres (1.6 to 4.7 in) long, are round or oval depending on the species.[3] They have a pronounced and typical fragrance, similar to lemon rind but less sharp. The outer skin may be rough, often with a bitter taste, or soft and sweet. Varying between species, the skin can be any thickness, is usually green before maturity, but becomes yellow, maroon, or green when ripe. The pulp inside may be sweet or sour.
